The drone bay is a relatively tranquil area where one can sit at a console and do some remote drone exploration. Some [[Machines#Exoscanner|assembly]] is required to begin operating an exploration drone, and this room is specialized for those needs. The room's adjacency to the primary hall allows for ease of access, and can be used publicly if the airlocks are set to emergency access or bolted open.

The drone bay is split into two parts: the maintenance area where the drones and their launch pads are located, and a seating room where the operating consoles are located. [[Machines#Exoscanner|Exoscanner]] parts are divided between the two areas. Unfortunately, the pre-built [[Machines#Exoscanner|Exoscanner]] visible in space is not connected to any [[APC]], and does not start operational as a result.
